Turn your study material into a study system.

Turn your notes, PDFs, slides, and study materials into interactive learning built around how you prefer to study.

See how it works

From a page of notes to something you can actually study

A demonstration, not a live upload. Watch study material become a study system, then try a short session yourself.

Biology — Cell Transport (Lecture 6).pdf14 pages · 2.1 MB
6.2 — Passive transport
  • Diffusion moves particles from high to low concentration, no energy required.
  • Osmosis is the diffusion of water across a semi-permeable membrane.
  • Facilitated diffusion uses channel proteins but still needs no ATP.
6.3 — Active transport
  • Active transport moves particles against the concentration gradient.
  • The sodium–potassium pump exports 3 Na⁺ for every 2 K⁺ imported.
  • Energy comes from ATP hydrolysis at the pump protein.

Re-reading your notes isn't studying.

Most study material is just information sitting in a file. Highlighting it again feels productive, but it doesn't tell you what you understand, what you'd get wrong under pressure, or what to look at next.

Aplomb turns the material you already have into learning, practice, testing and review — in an order that makes sense.

Built around you

Study the way you prefer to study.

Choose the styles you like working in. These are preferences you set and change whenever you want — not a test result or a label.

Visual

Diagrams, slides and structure first.

Written

Clear explanations you can read at your pace.

Audio

Listen instead of read when that suits you.

Practice-first

Jump into questions, learn from the answers.

Step-by-step

One small piece at a time, in order.

Designed with focus in mind

Made for different attention and thinking styles.

Aplomb is designed with learners in mind who find long, unstructured study hard to start or finish — including people with ADHD and autism. These are design choices, not medical claims.

Manageable sessions

Study in short pieces that have a clear end.

Big material, split up

Long documents become small, ordered parts.

Clear instructions

You always know what this session is asking of you.

Fewer distractions

One thing on screen at a time, no clutter.

Pause and resume

Stop mid-session and pick up exactly where you left off.

Flexible pacing

Go faster, slower, or repeat a part as often as you like.

An obvious next step

Never a blank screen asking what you want to do.

Adjustable presentation

Change text size, density and format to suit you.

Beyond one session

Studying shouldn't end when you close the file.

The same material comes back as a quick check, an applied problem, or a short review — so it stays learned instead of fading.
